What’s New This Quarter? Q3

Date Oct 15th, 2025

This quarter, we’ve focused on delivering greater visibility, smarter insights, and smoother user experiences across the Wakeo platform.

From expanding air freight coverage with 70+ airlines, to enhancing our Market Intelligence dashboards with richer congestion data and port calls, and finally to revamping our API documentation portal for a seamless developer experience.

These updates strengthen daily operations today, while paving the way for what’s next: in Q4, we’ll bring SKU-level load visibility and split air shipment tracking, giving you even more precision and control over your supply chain.

Market Intelligence Dashboard Now Includes Port Calls

Market Intelligence Dashboard – Now Includes Port Calls

A new version of the Port Disruption Dashboard is live, with three major enhancements:

  • Canals visibility: Canals are now included in both tables and maps. Disruptions will be highlighted when they occur.
  • Port calls displayed: The shipment impact table now includes port calls, a first on the platform. Users can see all ports a container will visit, including transshipments and canals.
  • Total waiting time: In addition to "Additional delay," we now display the total waiting time a vessel spends reaching and at berth, for more transparent congestion insights.

How it works:

  • Wakeo combines Data Science predictions with tracking data. For each tracked shipment, we predict the list of visited ports (calls, transshipments, PODs) and assign congestion metrics to every port.

Why it matters

With canals, you can gain extended location visibility, disruptions at critical chokepoints will be immediately surfaced. Port calls are increasingly relevant in today’s geopolitical climate, helping assess whether shipments pass through at-risk ports. Total waiting time provides a clearer understanding of congestion and port behavior, enabling smarter operational decisions.

What's Next

Coming in Q4

We’re already preparing exciting new features for next quarter that will take shipment visibility to the next level. From SKU-level insights to split air shipment tracking, these upcoming releases will give you even more control and precision over your supply chain.

SKU-Level Visibility: Load Overview

SKU-Level Visibility: Load Overview

In Q4, we will introduce a new Load tab on shipments that brings visibility down to the SKU level. You’ll soon be able to see purchase orders, quantities, customs details, packaging, and much more, all directly linked to each shipment.

Why it matters:
You’ll gain precise visibility into what’s inside each shipment, connect shipment-level data with SKU, PO, and customs information, and unlock the foundation for richer analytics and smarter alerts in the future.

If you would like to learn more about it, please contact your Customer Success representative.
