Acer partners with Wakeo for an AI powered predictive logistics

Paris, 19th May 2026 – Acer EMEA is accelerating the digital transformation of its global supply chain with a proven AI-powered logistics solution. The goal is to transform logistics management through an innovative system that enables the anticipation of delays, congestion, and major disruptions throughout the supply chain, thereby supporting faster and more effective operational decisions, as well as the monitoring of CO2 emissions of each shipment to support sustainability and environmental optimisation of the supply chain.

A Strategic Partnership to Reinforce Acer's Supply Chain Resilience

Thanks to this partnership, Acer is now able to monitor international shipments end-to-end by sea, air, road and rail, integrating data from carriers, corporate ERP systems, logistics platforms and independent satellite sources into a single, centralised and reliable source of information for the entire supply chain.

The new system has already enabled Acer to achieve greater accuracy in Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) ten days prior to arrival on routes between East Asia and Western Europe, reduce delays, and achieve cost savings and a reduction in safety stock.

The transition from a traditional tracking system to this predictive, AI-powered logistics model allows supply chain teams to focus exclusively on truly critical shipments, adopting a “by exception” management approach that accelerates decision-making and significantly reduces manual tasks related to updating and correcting operational data, including optimising inventory levels and tracking shipments down to the SKU level.

Joint presentation of Acer and Wakeo at Gartner Supply Chain Symposium

After the successful launch of the project, Acer and Wakeo are both presenting at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium in Barcelona and discussing the key benefits of the solution. As Acer EMEA handles complex flows from Asia to the EMEA region, combining multiple transport modes, it was key to find a solution that can fully cover all types of flow and combined shipments using different transport modes. Today Acer is well equipped with a digital tool that provides accurate and independent data tracking and is capable of monitoring CO2 emissions on the most complex transport flows.

“The new predictive system enables the team to access more accurate information and take faster decisions,” says Riccardo Bernasconi, Acer’s EMEA Supply Chain Senior Director. “In an increasingly volatile environment, having access to reliable, up-to-date shipment data means improving the supply chain’s responsiveness and ensuring greater service continuity for customers and end consumers. The value of this project lies not only in operational visibility but also in the opportunity to evolve towards a smarter decision-making model capable of supporting the business even in the most complex situations.”

“We are proud to support the Acer team on this journey,” says Julien Cote, CEO and Co-founder of Wakeo. “This partnership is a powerful demonstration of our ability to operate globally and across all modes of transport. Supply chain resilience is no longer about reacting faster — it's about seeing further. AI enables the shift from firefighting to a proactive model, powered by real-time recommendations and Wakeo's market benchmarks. That's how we intent to keep strengthening Acer's resilience and sustainability.”
